What is the best laminate/formica router bit?

Recommended Posts

The Euro Square Bearing bits don't leave any marks or get clogged up with contact cement. It's just flush trim . I use a seperate bit and router for beveling.

Otherwise you have to keep resetting back and forth.

If you use a metal bearing a trick is to rub the excess contact cement off with one of those crepe rubber blocks used for cleaning belt and drum sander abrasive.

Freud, Amana and CMT all make good bevel and flush trim combo bits. "No File" is another version that leaves a slightly rounded corner that isn't sharp.
