Idbill
Uh... I was scroll sawing a piece of Madrone (that I purchased probably about a month ago) and a ran into a perfectly round 1/4" hole that was well packed with sawdust... after cutting about 8" into the wood a live larvae popped out!Turns out, that the hole was about 10" deep about 1/2" in from the edge starting at the end.I looked for further holes, but didn't see any.How worried should I be for the rest of my wood?Bill

Guest
Is the madrone green, kiln dried or air dried? If it is kiln dried something went wrong in the drying process. Edited September 1, 2015 by Guest
