Connecting 27 mm and 32 mm festool hoses

Would like to join the male end of my 32 mm hose to the female end of my 27 mm hose.

I looked at the festool site, but I didn't notice any adaptors to make this easy.  I did some googling, and found a diy adaptor (short length of hose and two male 27 mm ends).

Are there other options?  I don't want to have to cut the hose, or fork out 60 bucks for two male ends.

Check your local plumbing supplier for rubber pipe adaper couplings. They come in various sizes on each end, and can stretch a bit to fit. Both hoses need male ends in this case, though.

Fein sells an adapter that reduces hoses to fit tools. Maybe they have something you can use.

are you thinking of a fernco adapter?  can get those at home depot or lowes.

Yep. Dunno if they come in those funky metric sizes, but there might be one close enough to work.

My small hose male end fits inside the larger hose male end tight enough that a wrap of tape would keep it from slipping out. Then you could just buy a single small Male end to swap w the female end.

The small rubber end of my 36mm hose fits perfectly into the hard plastic 50mm end of my 27mm hose. Takes a little pushing but a snug fit to be sure.
