JosephThomas
Granted, it's been (possibly stained) and sealed for a number of years so this might not be easy, but I'm just looking to get some close guesses here. I'd like to build some "matching" furniture so it'd be nice to get as close as possible on the species to make finishing easier...Drawers and side panels looked like red oak to me, wasn't sure about the drawer fronts or the top or the FFs....any input appreciated, thanks! wtnhighlander
Drawer fronts and top look like cherry to me, but I'm no expert. Might be some other mildly-grained wood with a cherry stain.

Look at the inside of the case where it isn't stained - that will tell you a lot
