Popular Post Tom Cancelleri
So in my journey to find hinges that aren't stamped garbage, and not wanting to sell organs to buy Brusso hinges for 7 boxes I'm gonna be making, I happened across Horton Brasses clock/box hinges. They are made of cast brass and then finished with various types of finishes (antique, dark antique, polished brass, satin brass, satin nickel, polished nickel) I picked up 8 pairs and received them today. Shipping is reasonably priced at $6.00 priority mail (it's not amazon prime, but I'll live) I also received a little note in the package that said "I am the one who packed your order, while I try my best not to make any errors in packing, mistakes do happen. If there is anything wrong or missing please contact customer service......" It went on for more than that but you get the point. P.S. my fingernails are longer because I play guitar (for those who were wondering)

Coop
Great review and a welcome relief from highway robbery from Brusso. I guess I shouldn't say that as Brusso has a quality product. The only downside I see with the Horton is that they don't come in 95*, but for less than half the price, I'm probably the only one that cares and can live with that.

There are ways around the full open. Could do a decorative chain, leather, ribbon, or get box lid mechanisms for a couple of bucks. Coop
If I used leather, I'd have to go to Tandy and buy more as mine is currently tied to the bed posts ?
