I've done chisels with the angle sharpened and then hone the rear at almost zero degrees. How can I keep the non-bevelled side from too many tool marks and scratches? wtnhighlander Posted November 13, 2015 Report Share Posted November 13, 2015 A single bevel knife would be sharpened the same as a chisel, or you can put a very small bevel on the flat side to keep it pretty, and hone it like a normal double bevel knife blade. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
