Denette
I took Marc's advice and got the wood slicer bandsaw blade and it's a night-and-day difference between it and my old blade. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good bandsaw blade to get that I could use for finer cuts - small curves and whatnot. In my small shop the bandsaw has to do its own job and most of what a scroll saw would do... Anyone have any suggestions?
croessler
I have been using a Timberwolf 1.4" 10tpi for that kind of work. It has performed wonderfully. Edited November 27, 2015 by croessler
bglenden
The "Drunken Woodworker" uses a 3/16" 4 TPI skip tooth blade for his bandsaw boxes. Presumably if you always use thinner material you could use higher TPI.
