Immortan D
I use dedicated countersink bits from Bosch.I have this cheap set of combined countersink bits, but I don't recommend them because they have the same problem your set has, the bits come lose when the drill stops spinning, so I have to tighten them again before starting a new hole. A PITA.
Trip
==>for a good pilot hole with countersink combinedThese are what I use: http://wlfuller.com/html/type__c__sets.htmlThey are very good quality, made in Road Island and not exactly cheap... But I've got several sets and none have been duds... This is the most purchased and my goto:http://wlfuller.com/html/no__11_set.html I've got both of their large sets, which are great, but a bit more costly... They are parabolic and therefore reside at the drill press: http://wlfuller.com/html/taper_point_drills.html Edited November 27, 2015 by hhh
TerryMcK
i have the Dewalt set and it is really good - the bit doesn't wobble on mine. You must have the drill positioned incorrectly so the grub screw is tightening on a flute rather than the flat on the shaft of the drill. Alan Bienlein
I've tried just about all the ones listed and the only one for me is the Jack Rabbit.http://www.jackrabbittool.com/
