ozarkeod Posted November 29, 2015 Report Share Posted November 29, 2015 I finally got to point that I needed a lathe before I could complete a handful of restoration projects, but I got a lathe that needed restoration for a really good price. I could sure use some help (answers) from the experts:1.No markings at all, any ideas of maker? Bed is solid round stock 1.5" dia with keyway at 9 o'clock for tool rest and tail stock track. Tail end of bed is my fabrication.2.Head stock is 7/8" X 8 tpi. Are accessories like spur drives available for this size?3.I'm still cleaning out the inside taper of the headstock, large end size is .433 and depth is around 1.58"Thanks for any info, Tom Y.
