What to do with Jatoba cutoffs?

Today I picked up 50 small Jatoba cutoffs approx ⅞-15/16" x 5-6" x 12" for $0.25 each.

I could make some small boxes, picture frames, etc. but I'm looking for some inspiration from you - any interesting ideas?

Also, any recommendations for complimentary wood species to be paired with Jatoba?

BTW, sorry about the crappy colour in the picture taken with my iPad. This is definitely reddish Jatoba.

I bought Jatoba to make bookshelf speakers from. It's a nice dense wood which is good for sound. Could use an accent wood and try and build some sort of checker board table top. Or join them together to make boards for shop jigs.

At that price I guess it is feasible but I wouldn't be building jigs from jatoba.

With scraps that size,  segmented turning comes to mind.
