Popular Post Megashed
With my growing arsenal of Festools, I decided it was time to buy or build one. Being $1000 bucks for the Festool model, I decided to build. Here's what I came up with.
wdwerker
Looks nice ! Was there much work to match the gray paint ? Where did you get the " Festool " sticker ?
RichardA
You must not be a real "green" addict, or you'd have bought theirs! Ask Shane!
Megashed
The grey paint was a simple match, I just used a Google image of the Festool color swatches to find it. The sticker is actually paint, put on with a stencil I made. Haha RichardA, I'm not a complete fanboy yet... But I can't build a domino..... kbj
Looks Great! I keep wanting to build a couple... then I remember I have literally zero floor space at this point. :/

shaneymack
Very nice. I have, let's say, a "few" extra systainers lying around that need a home also. I have nine systainers built into my workbench but the others are just sitting in pretty piles staring at me like orphans everytime im in the shop. All to say, i gotta build three of these and was looking online and couldn't find the colour codes. Do you have them? Id like to avoid the fog if i could. Popular Post Woodenskye
Shane is just happy to finally have the Festool colors so his new tattoos will be authentic! Plus now he can paint his shop and call it the Systainer!

JosephThomas
each one holds 3-5 of them...and we already saw he had like 10 in his bench... @shaneymack do you have 20+ systainers? I think you actually may have a problem.

Megashed
@Osgw380 sides, back and drawer bottoms are birch. No edge treatment, I just skimmed the gaps with some DAP and sanded it out.

Janello
I agree, very cool! I wish I had enough systainers to ponder making one. Maybe I'll make 2 dozen wooden systainers first. I can fill them with ryobi tools!
