bbrook
This is my first post. I need some advice, I'm refinishing a coffee table that was painted white, the lady wants it to be cherry. I have stripped it 3 times already. The top looks good and it ready for a finish, but the sides look streaky. When I clean it with mineral spirits they look fine, but dry streaky. Should I sand it down to bare wood or use more stripper or will cherry gel stain do the trick? Thanks for any advise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tom King
I don't know if this will do it or not, but I keep several colors of this stuff on hand, and it's made some remarkable saves on old pieces: http://www.amazon.com/Howard-RF9016-Restor-A-Finish-16-Ounce-Cherry/dp/B000LNUKDS
