midtnwoodworker
So I just realized something. The little blue line that shows up in a post is there to show me the replies after I have read something. It's one of those things like when people finally realize there is an arrow pointing to which side of the vehicle their fuel tank is on.
Immortan D
That makes me not only an idiot, but a blind idiot. Because I've never noticed that line until now.

Coop
Who am I to disagree with such a lovely lady, but I kind of think that maybe that Chef may have taken #1 for eternity and you're a long way from #2! Jfthoi, did you know that there was a darn arrow pointing in the direction of the gas fill cap? I can't be the only numbninny out here! Maybe a poll is in order? Maybe not

treeslayer
no offense taken llama, seinfeld reference was intentional, and no coop i didn't notice the arrow, back in ancient times the side of the instrument panel that the gas gauge was on was the side that the filler was on
wtnhighlander
IMO, the gas filler cap should ALWAYS be on the driver's side. It would help eliminate the crashed pumps and stretched hoses for all those drivers who can't seem to figure out where the other side of the car actually is.

I'd suggest they just put the gas filler on the back of the car. They could even hide it behind a hinged license plate.
Chestnut
You've lied to me i has no arrow. Honestly the worst is when you have 2 cars that are opposite. I'm always on the wrong side of the pump.

Now that we have drive-through, basically one-way, stations it seems that having gas on both sides is most practical. It avoids traffic jams. It's how we get herded like cattle through our fueling stations.

Our gas station lots are still chaos. 2 hours ago, midtnwoodworker said: Most "american made" vehicles have the tank on the drivers side. Humm, well it is a Mazda that was made in Mexico so i don't know where that lands.
