Rex Edgar
Using a router table, can a 90 degree corner be routed through or will it bind up in the corner? I'm looking for a smooth transition in the corner. I have rounded the rest of the legs of the corner separately, but I cannot get the corner without going too far or stopping short. Gixxerjoe04
Rasp/file might work? Or leave it because no one else will probably notice haha.
Brendon_t
Where are you trying to rout from that picture? To answer, an outside corner is pretty easy. Run one side, turn, repeat. Inside corners are prone to burning if you take too long to change direction.
Coop
Rex, if you're asking about the inside corner on top, you're trying to touch a square corner with a round bit and it will never reach! As mentioned, using a rasp and/or sanding block will be good options.
gee-dub
Maybe a repost with some tape along the edges you are talking about?
Rex Edgar
These are the inside corners in question.
Rex Edgar
Thanks for the replies. Got a scrap piece and cut a 90 degree out of it. It works if you don't loiter in the corner.
bushwacked
are they stuck together already? If not mark and pull apart and run it. or route close and rasp the rest or just smoothly go through it and get most of it then rasp?
