dflan004
working on some patio furniture. finished up the table and working on a set of bar stools. im using half lap joints for all the stool bases. just a little confused about the glues. is titebond III necessary for outdoor use? or will titebond II suffice? how well will the joints with titebond ii hold up outside and in the rain? If it's going to be outside use TB III, it barley costs more and the only side effect is that the glue lines aren't as clear. If you want it to hold together for good and have less worries this is what I'd do. It would be a huge waste of work to glue it up to just have it fail due to weather. toddclippinger
I would definitely go Titebond III for this application.
..Kev
Titebond III or Epoxy
wtnhighlander
Check the labels. TB II is "water resistant", while TB III is "water proof". Need water proof for outside.
TerryMcK
Use TB3 outside or West Systems epoxy.
