New tool, killer deal, nothing exciting

My dad was at home depot the other day, and they are no longer going to carry Senco products, so they clearanced all their stuff. I picked up a 18 gauge crown stapler for $28 marked down from $109. My dad bought the last 15 gauge finish nailer for $45 marked down from $179. Might want to check your local home depot if you're in the market for one.

I have been real happy with my Sencos.  I have never had a problem wit them and the finish nail gun is pretty old and still going strong.

Senco is what I've always used.  I bought my first ones from a salesman that came in on a boat.  I asked him what in the world he was doing selling nailguns from a boat for.  He said it was perfect.  All he had to do was go out on the lake, turn the motor off, and listen for hammers. 

That was 1975, and I'm still using all five of those first ones, along with a full quiver of others now.  They had a special then of buy a gun, and get a box of fasteners.  I still haven't used up the box of 10,000 1" finish nails.
