Popular Post Chet
Kev stop by a couple of Saturdays ago for a shop visit. A beer lead to idea of replacing my old work bench with a new miter station. Kev said he was bored at the hotel while in town so an idea was hatched. This past Saturday we took out the old bench and built a nice miter station. This was supposed to be a journal but having a good time working together on this, I forgot to take any pictures until we were mostly done, so all you get is a couple of before and one after. IMPORTANT NOTE: Kev was the brains on this job, I just provide the shop for him to get his "fix". ..Kev
Was a fun project for sure! But getting out of the hotel and having an awesome home cooked meal were the true icing on the cake!
RichardA
The nearest hotel with any decent amenities to me is 40 miles away, so I'll never see Kev! Wah, wah! Hell of a job guys, and you even got a new drill docking station as well! Cool!
JosephThomas
Nice work. Why don't they send you to a site in San Diego?

We had cannibalized a strip of plywood off of it for support under the saw and what you see was an accidental leftover that fit nice and provides space for the drills and radio and maybe a beer now and then. He has this one down, I think he figured this was the fifth one of this basic design.
Coop
Chet, what lives in the boxes to the right of the upper cabinets?
Chet
Ah, let see, theres a Bosch barrel grip jigsaw, a not used much mortiser for my drill press, Senco brad nailer, drum sander kit for the drill press and a impact wrench for car and truck tire rotation. Yea I know the last one has nothing to do with woodworking.
wdwerker
Impact wrench might come in handy if a machine needs to be torn down for repair. You just never know what might be needed.

Where I appreciate Chet's humble words, it should be noted that we worked together to get the "bones" in place but, Chet did all the trim work after I left which turned out awesome!
