collinb
As I shop every so often I find one of those things that I've never seen before. http://columbus.craigslist.org/tls/5641220555.html Anyone here use/used one? Opinions? Saw some discussion in another forum and it was generally positive, along with the need for extra caution based on the design. midtnwoodworker
I have never used or even seen one for that matter. Just looking at it though my biggest concern would be the lack of infeed/outfeed support.
Immortan D
That's for edges and only for edges, right?

gee-dub
Makes me cringe but, a lot of the things I do make other people cringe. If you are familiar with the tool and use the established safety methods, all should be well. So the edge quality is reliant on the miter gauge or is the stock resting against the cutter supposed to be part of the guiding system? Janello
I dunno much about it, but it looks like an invention to fix a problem that never existed.
wdwerker
I saw a demo way back in the day. They were able to trim the end of matchstick sized pieces . I even considered getting one but they weren't on the market that long. Limitations on size and length was what made me hesitate . Seems like I remember it wasn't cheap either. Tom King
I remember seeing them in advertisements, but they never caught on. I never wanted one.
