Tom Cancelleri
I'm looking for a shop stool. I prefer the 4 leg quasi padded stools that look like this. However I'm not a chevy guy, a ford guy, or a john deere guy. Anyone know a place to possibly get something woodworking related. The other stools I see are Star Wars (more of a trek guy), SnapOn, CAT. Do woodworkers never sit? Sometimes it'd be nice to sit for a few minutes and not on a folding chair. with my chin being at the height of the Roubo.
ormonddmd
I got a very similar stool at Woodcraft. No name on it. Green in color, 4 legs and a foot rest just like this. I love mine and, yes, I do sit down, even to do some tasks like sanding. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Coop
SIL gave me one a few years ago from Sears/Craftsman. It has a back to it and is way too comfortable.

Should I look for one that isn't comfortable? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Llama
I thought Woodcraft has one similar to this.
Tom Cancelleri
I thought Woodcraft has one similar to this. My local woodcraft has that stupid uncomfortable flimsy plastic backed stool, and the one that looks like a bottle cap. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk Tom, I find it comfortable. I move it around quite a bit and has been bumped around and still holds up. The swivel on mine is a bit sticky, I could and should squirt some wd40. Once I got to the height I like I haven't adjusted the height. Janello
My Milwaukee stool brings boys to the yard, I can teach you, but I'd have to charge.
h3nry
I just sit on saw-horses in the shop.
drzaius
My wife got me a Snap On stool for my birthday & I really like it. It's got a pneumatic height adjustment & a nice padded seat. Being able to adjust the height is key.

wouldwurker
I have the Rockler one that looks exactly like the pic in the OP..,, All I do is constantly move it out of the way. I think I only sit in it when I'm working my day job from the shop.

Cliff
I bought one from walmart.com. had it shipped to store. It is not comfortable. But it's not murder on my butt either. it was $25. I also picked up an adjustable height one from harbor freight on wheels that really works quite well. nice for when I'm sanding a big item in the driveway and I can just zoom around it. Robby W
You might take a look at a drummers throne. Very sturdy and comfortable, with or without a backrest. Choice of seat types too. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Drum-Thrones.gc
