Popular Post danbell78
I am still working on the details, but here is the mud bench or whatever you want to call it I just built and install in my garage. Once I get the details (fill and touch up paint on nail holes from install) I will post some close ups of it. The benches are oak, with doweled joints. They and the corbels are actually re-used wood from what were some 4ft round table tops.

MisterDrow
That looks great! My wife wants something similar to this in the laundry room that's just off of the garage. She's sick of the kids just leaving things on the floor there (worse during the school year) and wants extra storage, as well.
Gary
Wow, that looks very nice. You should be proud of that!
Eric.
Well done sir. I'd say a little too nice for the garage but that never stopped me either. Nice job! Mountain Dew will kill you. You should flush that urine down the toilet.
shaneymack
Mountain Dew will kill you. You should flush that urine down the toilet. I've heard this. Isn't it two parts anti freeze to two parts sugar? Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

Eric.
I think it's two parts sugar, two parts antifreeze, two parts rat piss and 100% delicious. Then you die.

You forgot the caffeine. It's gotta be at least two parts caffeine (or meth) the way it amps you up.
MisterDrow
This is why I just drink black coffee. Uh-oh... is this turning into a hijack thread? (back on-topic) Did you use plywood or MDF for the shelves/structure on that bench?
danbell78
We would have like to do this in the laundry room, but there isn't room so this was the next best. I used ply wood for the cabinets. Thanks for the positive feedback It's Diet Mtn Dew, so that makes it better, right?
