Tpt life
Some jamb switches have amperage limitations. The one I am looking at says it is a 3 amp switch. As long as the load does not exceed 3 amps this can be wired into a normal circuit? Just like plugging a tiny power cord into an outlet, the proper load is all that matters? Residential, not automotive.
