Popular Post bigarm
Bought a lathe a couple of months ago and put it in my wood shop. It fit fine, but I found that I couldn't move my woodworking tools around and since it is a narrow shop this is a must. So I bought a shed for the lathe. Made a walkway, then got insulation and rough in electricity. Then I started finishing the inside. Now I just need to get the electrician back to finish his work and I can move the lathe in.
-MattK-
Love it! That loft area will be good for drying out bowl blanks. Maybe put a small pancake compressor up there, it's nice to have air to blow the chips out of vases and hollow forms. Plug in the ceiling is great, too. Woodenskye
Your lathe has a nicer shop than my entire shop. Jealous, who me?

Larry Moore
Nice building, it would take my wife five min to turn it into her potting shed.

bigarm
I live in NW Montana and yes there will be heat. Plug in in the ceiling is a great idea. Unfortunately, that is for the lights. My wife already has made it quite clear that it would be a great place for her card making business. So I am trying to draw her off my asking her to get involved pyrography and embellish my turnings.
