Chestnut
Good lighting. I really like the solar lights. I might hang some of those on my garage after i install new siding. I have a walkway that gets dangerous in the dark.

Shaun Guthrie
Hello, Did you consider LED when you were selecting lights?

LED lighting wasn't as affordable or as good 4 years ago when I built this shop. If I were starting a new shop then LED would be my choice. I can replace the Fluorescent tubes with LED tubes as the Fluorescents die off. They make them so you can install in old mounts that have starters or electronic starters. Who knows what will be available in 10 years from now?

Ah yeah very true, 4 years ago it would have been a lot more expensive. However we are still not at a point where it's as affordable as the old style tubes. I put some in my previous garage and want to do the same in the new garage. Great tip on painting the walls white. I'll be doing that for sure.
