Popular Post treeslayer
it's called the Fenlon Place Elevator, 296' long and elevation is 189', the view with the bridge is Illinois and the one without is Wisconsin, the elevator is in Iowa, there are other cable cars in the country of course, this ones claim to fame is it's short and steep. it was built in the 1800's and was privately owned by a banker who wanted to get from his business on the bottom to the top to have lunch and a nap at noon.
