rodger.
I mostly use pocket holes in hidden areas when required, but this new plug cutter sure looks handy for people who may need an exposed pocket screw from time to time.
Brendon_t
It's about time. I'm surprised it took so long.
Dave's Not Here
Seems a little pricey at $70 but then again so are the plugs they now sell. For someone who uses their Kreg Jigs often enough it would pay for itself fairly quickly.
Woodenskye
This is a good idea.
Eric.
Do they make a gizmo that can plug the plug? If you don't plug the plug, there's still a plug. And even if you do...there's still a plug.
gee-dub
I never use a pocket hole joint where it will show. Pocket holes can be good problem solvers but, in those cases if it is a show area I would find an alternative. For the plywood box, brad-nailer folks this could up their game a bit. If I were a pro that did this sort of work I would probably be glad to have it in the truck now and again.
Tom Cancelleri
This is exciting! Now I can make contrasting pocket hole plugs! </sarcasm> I only use pocket holes where other joints like dominoes or mortise and tenon are not feasible. Eric.
I use pocket screws on jigs all the time. And nowhere else. That doesn't make me a better person, it just makes me...well, uh, yeah...a better person. LOL
..Kev
I can't honestly recall the last time I used my pocket jig. I never liked the plugs that came with it so, have never used them. I would never use a pocket hole where it can be seen unless it's on a jig or something similar. So, for me, this would be a waste of money. It's amazing in the video how well they hid those plugs

Immortan D
I used to incorporate pocket holes in almost every project. And lots of screws too. But then the dowels changed my life. Can't get enough of them.
davestanton
That is cool. Use a bandsaw and dowel myself, but using the same timber from scrap is great! I want one. Actually I want all three sizes. Then we can make sexy plugs of contrasting colours inside each other!

How many plugs could Pug plug, if Pug could plug pugs? This was funnier in my head. I'm too committed to it now.
