thewoodwhisperer
Hey folks. Just letting you know we will be moving the forum to a new server this week and it might result in some down time. If I have a firm date and time I'll let you know.

Popular Post thewoodwhisperer
So the move is complete. As is always the case with these things, there might be some issues here and there so let me know if something is funky. We have disabled the store (where you buy the ad-free supporter package) until we can get an SSL certificate installed. So aside from that, anything that looks fishy just let me know. Thanks folks.
xxdabroxx
Only thing I have noticed is my profile pic is gone, but no biggie really. Everything else seems to be working great!
Eric.
Everything seems normal here but tapatalk has gone goofy on me. My "timeline" option doesn't work, and I can't find any of my PMs.

thewoodwhisperer
If you cleared your cache and cookies you would have seen it as early as last night. It just took that long for your DNS cache to clear.

Corporate BS. But it works now. Who knows. I don't know a DNS from a CNC, they are both evil in my technophobe book I really hate it when these stupid work computers screw up what we do on their time!

gee-dub
Even though I can log on and off and navigate the forum via desktop, from iPhone ver 9.3.5 using Firefox 5.2(1) I can sign in but then get: I can sign back out and sign back in but, always get the above screen. Same with Safari and Chrome.
gee-dub
@Mike, Have cleared all browser cruft repeatedly. Phone power cycle did the trick. Thanks!
thewoodwhisperer
yeah i had to power cycle my phone too. Thought that was just me so I didn't mention it previously.
Eric.
I've power cycled my phone twice, uninstalled and reinstalled tapatalk, signed out, signed in...can't get it to work basically at all. Also I've cleared the browser history and cache twice on my laptop and it still says "forum is offline." I can only access the forum on my PC in the basement. Can someone tell me how to clear the "DNS" in Firefox?
TerryMcK
Open a cmd prompt as an administrator type ipconfig /flushdns to clear the cache in firefox hold the shift key down and press the refresh icon next to the address bar

Tpt life
Mel gets the forum down on his Mac after a cache dump. Suggestions I can pass him?
wtnhighlander
What language is that? My laptop now works, inexplicably. Tapatalk is beyond useless. Is anyone else having tapatalk issues? Sounds like a personal problem, Eric. Tapatalk (android flavor) is working fine for me. I did have to sign out (of Tspatalk, not just this forum), sign back in, and reset my customizations, though.
Llama
Back on after the DNS.dizzle.flush Bang! Funny thing, my "work" computer didn't have ant issues. Maybe they flush their crap daily...
