Popular Post prov163
Finally pulled the trigger on some new tools. LN tapered dovetail saw, Knew Concepts 5" fret saw with some spiral blades, Veritas dovetail markers, and Stanley Sweetheart chisels. I've got a set of Narex that are okay but thought if I like this design I can upgrade to the LN later. I'm determined to teach myself to cut dovetails. This solves any tool excuses. Hope to add the Veritas low angle jack plane next month. Gonna be a great fall in the shop!
..Kev
Great score! Definitely takes away the tool excuses for making DTs. Congrats!
Chestnut
Nice snag. I have that set of Stanley chisels as well and really like them. I need to find a good way to store them in a useful place. Because of that they don't get used all that much, it's easier to grab my beater chisels.
