andrew-in-austin
I am planning on getting a carbide tipped bandsaw blade, and I want one that can be used for as many cuts as possible, including curves. I'm curious what you have on your bandsaws most of the time, especially if you have only one bandsaw. I was considering a Lenox tri-master, 3/8" width and 3 TPI. I don't have a specific project in mind, but I do want to cut curves. I may invest in a separate resale blade later if this blade really struggles with that. comp56
I can't say just one blade, I run a few different blades I just manage projects or material accordingly. one blade can't do it all...
andrew-in-austin
Mike how small radius do you think the 1/2" trimaster will cut? The 1/2" was my second choice, may become my first. Oddly enough the 1/2" is cheaper than the 3/8".
Robby W
I use an Olsen All Pro 1/4" 6 you blade for general use and a 1/2" Woodslicer for resawing. The combo works great.
Barron
A 1/2" Woodslicer for resawing and what ever 3/8" or 1/4" blade they have at Woodcraft or Klingspor. I used to avoid changing blades, but decided that was silly-I just needed to get comfortable changing the blade and then I could use the right blade for the job. I've been happier ever since.
