Popular Post Bombarde16
Visited family in Florida for Thanksgiving and got put to work the moment I walked the door. Biggest jobs were plumbing a replacement vanity in the guest bath and laying a laminate floor in a bedroom. Very limited tools available but I didn't let that stop me from replacing a section of trim. This is a mitered corner for a baseboard, cut freehand with nothing but a speed square and a ratty saw from the home center. Good enough for caulk and paint. I wouldn't want to trim a whole building like this and have no intention of giving up my chop saw. But I'm thankful that all of the wonderful neanderthals we have nowadays have given me the confidence to do this. (The alternative is what? Rent a chop saw for five minutes? Leave the room unfinished until my next visit?) Mark the line. See the line. Cut the line. Done.
