Popular Post MORALITYCRAFT
My wife wanted to put together a margarita basket as a Christmas gift for her boss. I decided to use some scrap Pine and Walnut I had to build this serving tray. I used my Incra I-box for the second time. I have to say I'm still getting used to it but for this it worked out pretty well. Atleast all of her co-workers liked it. I'd be interested in your thoughts.
wtnhighlander
Looks good, I like walnut and pine together. Did you color the pine, or is the lighting dark in the photos?

Coop
Woodworking looks pretty darn good. Taste in tequila leaves a little to be desired . Welcome to the forum!!
MORALITYCRAFT
The pine was stained with a blend of Jacobean and Early American. The Walnut was left natural and everything was finished with a semi gloss poly. I haven't been woodworking long but I'm quickly realizing what I already knew, Box store lumber is Junk. I believe it makes learning harder. once I finally ponies up and bought some walnut to make a few picture frames I see its much nicer to work with. Welcome to the addiction I guess. 4 minutes ago, K Cooper said: Woodworking looks pretty darn good. Taste in tequila leaves a little to be desired . Welcome to the forum!! Thanks, and I'm not much of a Tequila drinker and neither is her Boss but that's what he said he liked so who am I to deny the man.
