I think the MFT is great... for site work or if you need to fold it up to store it. For less money you can build a much more substantial bench and include more functions if you like. Use the Parf guide system (or one of the other solutions) to produce a 96mm x 20mm grid top and use something to use a track for accurate cuts either something as simple as parf dogs et al or I really like the EZ Smart Bridge which works with Festool tracks.
