Keegan Riotto
How do you repair a blister on a surface that you can't clamp a wood block to keep the newly glued area down?
Ronn W
There is usually a way to clamp anything with cauls and clamps. A picture would be helpful.
wdwerker
A hot iron can melt the glue sometimes.
AceHoleInOne
On blisters, I will try the hot iron trick. If that fails, I will cut a small slit in the grain with a razor knife and inject some glue using a syringe. Place a piece of wax paper over the repair, covering that with a block of wood. Using a long piece of caul, clamp the block down using 2 clamps on either end of the caul. -Ace-
