Hey konkers, I think there are few of us from the area lurking around the forums these days. It would be cool to put together a meetup. Maybe grab some coffee and talk about projects. I've been talking a little to kevmc about the Roubo build and I think you are doing the build too. it would be great to have met each other if we need to call in reinforcements later on in the build. Let me know if you are interested.

sounds great. I am going out of town for a few days but maybe we could put something together for a week or two from now. I commute from SF to Pleasanton everyday so I can pretty much meet anywhere, certainly oakland, especially in the evenings. I will send @kevmc a note so he can chime in. i'll look around the forums to see if anyone else is interested. looking forward to putting something together

Definitely on board. Konkers, I am in orinda so meeting in Oakland would be great. We could also meet in alameda at Japan woodworker some time. I think both of you are in to hand tools and I am interested in gaining experience in hand tools. I am traveling this week too.

I could do 10:00 am on the 4th. Is that early enough for you? I've got a gig in the city that night so anything before that might be a little hard. I roast my own coffee so have plenty on hand. Still, feel free to bring some if you're attached to your brand/roast.
