2 funky breadboards

no planned design, just did as I went along. they'll be gifts. I used tiger maple, birdseye maple, bloodwood, walnut. LOML suggested some whimsical, non-linear elements through the design, so i came up with some meandering curves and shapes as opposed to the standard breadboard shape I typically do. finished with three coats of 50/50 wiping varnish and mineral spirits, then a coat of clapham's beeswax finish,

How did you get the fit to line up so well with the bottom curved boards? Did you stack the pieces and cut at the same time so the curves

matched perfectly or sand to fit?

yes, I did a stacked cut of two boards (maple, walnut) with a very thin kerf bandsaw blade, so there was no sanding to do.

The engineer type in me says "gotta have straight lines."

The rest of me (and there's a lot of the rest of me) is saying "love it and leave it as it is!" Nicely done! (Glad to see more non rectilinear work out there!)
