  1. The last one wasn't as good as the early ones.
  2. Late reply...sorry. I ended up converting it to DC savaging parts from it and a defunct PSI turncrafter plus making a motor bracket, and an eBay motor controller. https://plus.google.com/117386907680690205902/posts/bVj5HYtfPTE There is a pin on the old reeves drive setup. Its been a while and I do not remember for sure but everything came out pretty easily once you pull the handle off the front. If anyone needs the motor pulley I have a cast iron one from Lovejoy that I do not need any more. $50/alone - and if you'd want the motor/switch too for $100/for both plus shipping send me a PM.
  3. Thanks Doug, I'll email Grizzly and see what they can offer as far as details on it. What did you do for yours?
  4. Doug Can you confirm the Grizzly headstock pulley fits the delta? http://www.grizzly.com/parts/P0462021 I replaced the motor pulley with a Lovejoy 5010 pulley and it worked (the shaft on the motor was a hair large and I sanded it down to fit. Metric vs SAE). EBay for about $67 But for the hour it worked, my headstock pulley decided to break too.
  5. I bought the g0490 and sent it back for the 495x. Yes, it was twice the price and it's more than twice the quality of the first one. Having both parallelogram and dovetail, I prefer the parallelogram. But once its dialed in you don't really need to adjust them again on either. I'd save more for the carbide cutters instead. So much easier then knives.
  6. I did something similar when I ordered my bandsaw bands from Jergens Supply (Spectrum). I ordered online 6 bands and one of them I had an inch longer than the rest. They called me up to verify. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  7. 20" box fan with 20" filter taped to it Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks Doug. I may try looking for a set if stepped pulleys. I have an old treadmill motor and an extra DC speed controller. But for time, I'll check out the Grizzly! Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  9. I would suggest Taiwanese versions over Chinese if they are offered in what you are looking for. I saw a huge improvement in quality with the Taiwan stuff. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks Marco. I'm still new to spraying but I get to practice at work. Street light poles, transformers, a dump truck. For never doing it before the dump truck was fun and turned out pretty well. Gave me about 40 hours of practice. What size tip do you use in your gun? I will probably only spray water based finish which seems pretty thin compared to oil. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  11. Try rustoleum stains. I was pleasantly surprised when I stained a top I made for a vanity cabinet. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  12. Which has less overspray? I sprayed (1.4mm paint, 1.8mm primer) using a Graco FX3000 around 30psi on the gun and still felt like I had a decent amount of overspray. It was much better than the old IR gun I used before that which was around 50psi Iirc. I want to get something for home. I already have a 2 stage T30 compressor. (175 psi @ 24 cfm I think) Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  13. I bought the G0651 TS last week, and just ordered a G0495X Jointer about a half hour ago Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
