  1. I just ran 6" metal spiral duct to flex hose at the machines 3 weeks ago cost me about $520 shipped from the blastgateco.com they were 20-30% cheaper than pennstate and norfab and they custom designed all my wyes with reducers built in so I had no separate reducers to hook up I plumbed a from a 1 1/2 hp grizzly cyclone there cheapest cyclone to a 3" 20ft line for shop clean up a 5hp table saw,19"bandsaw,12" jointer,15"planer and a 24"dual drum sander with 6"&5" duct with only high quality hvac duct tape and some sheet metal screws with aluminum blast gates. I'm very happy with the quality and price. Keep in mind I already had all the flex hose and clamps so the $520 was only the metal duct work and blast gates if you had to buy the flex hoses plus hose clamps expect another $200 depending on shop layout and machines you have. This was the 4th time I've redesigned my dc and last.
  2. Yes this is a 4" thick walnut crotch that I butterflied end to end with hand cut keys to hold the ends together for a coffee table they go an inch deep is very minor it's just that the end grain soaked a little dye through
  3. So I'm building an walnut table with some Birdseye maple butterfly keys inlaid in it and I used some west epoxy mixed with dark walnut to attach them but the dye in the epoxy soaked into the end grain of the butterfly keys and gave lots of little streaks in them. Is there a way to use acetone or some other solvent to wash the dye streaks out of the maple?
  4. Must be willing to ship it to myrtle beach sc

  9. Love to hear some opinions on the new deadman
  10. ok so i was not happy with the gap spacing on the tail vise dog piece so i made another one no pictures in that but i did complete the deadman rail. and the deadman actually 2 deadmen lol. i was not happy with the first one so i made another and i think its much cooler. my wife just looked at both and just shrugged and said yeh 2 pieces of wood with holes so? but hey you cant have everything lol anyways i milled a big 14 wide 2 1/2 inch thick by 10" piece down to make the new deadman and the shelf boards. here are pictures of all of that.
  11. so today i fininshed the putting leather on the dogs & trimming. Then i made the dog holder for the tail vise now all thats left is the sliding deadman. sorry about not having more picture of the process but im not as patient now and i forget to stop and take pictures.
