A hall table featuring a floating top, eight slender legs and fun shaping challenges. Material is river-salvaged, old-growth Honduras Mahogany from the the Belize River bottom in 2009. Rich Petty’s Greener Lumber, LLC. researched and brought this treasure to his operation in Mexico, Missouri. Tom ordered the Mahogany after reading a Popular Woodworking blog by senior editor, Glen Huey. This is my second project using the material. It is gratifying to work with lumber with sure a rich story, which hopefully, shall continue for many years.
