Tail Vise

The screw was one I found laying around somewhere and adapted to fit. Inside the cut-out is a block that slides back and forth on oak runners. The block is flush with the top of the table and contains 4 threaded inserts so that I can bolt various adapters to it. There is no handle in the screw head because I found that even just tightening by hand provides more than enough pressure to keep pieces in place.
