Did you just cover an existing plastic drive cover with wood or did you build the entire thing by piecing it all together and then creating the wood cover? I like the grain in this Jatoba. Nicely done and very geeky cool wood gadget!!! ~Sunshine Gerl i actually broke open the flash drive to just have the internals. i took a piece of the jatoba and bandsawed it in half, just traced the outline of the drive on the two inside pieces and chisled out the materials , drilled the pilot hole for the light. put it in and glued the 2 pieces back together, secured it at the opening and filled the light hole with hot glue. works awesome and only took about a hour to make, it made a great gift for my techie buddy.
