This is definitely creative. Did you just cover an existing plastic drive cover with wood or did you build the entire thing by piecing it all together and then creating the wood cover? I like the grain in this Jatoba. Nicely done and very geeky cool wood gadget!!! ~Sunshine Gerl

i actually broke open the flash drive to just have the internals. i took a piece of the jatoba and bandsawed it in half, just traced the outline of the drive on the two inside pieces and chisled out the materials , drilled the pilot hole for the light. put it in and glued the 2 pieces back together, secured it at the opening and filled the light hole with hot glue. works awesome and only took about a hour to make, it made a great gift for my techie buddy.
