Chucked in a chunk of untreated OSB for a baseline reference. Difficult to set onto the spur, stops dead when the gouge catches but the spur hums and rattles ominously (please, no music jokes). Speed of initial test turning not recorded. Initial plan was to turn a basic spindle before aborting due to expected results.
