second coat light sample 2

jHop

This is a second view of the two test pieces, with the top piece being rotated only 90 degrees off the initial application area. Again, the tape has been removed on this piece. Note that the CA adhered to the tape, leaving the residue visible. Interestingly, the tape bowed outwards, looking like a bowl (sort of) under this heavy coat. Apparently there is some soaking going on, but the extent is not documented at this time.

Second coat on both pieces was left for 6 hours prior to photographing. Hardness results were identical for thin coats, thick coat still retains some slight softness and pliability, although it is definately not runny and leaves no sticky residue on fingers when touched.
