first bowl

The great thing about turning is that you can produce things quite quickly. This wood looks a bit like rainbow wood that I used one time. What finish did you use on your piece here?

I used clear shellac as I plan on using it just for throwing change/keys etc in it, if I was going to use it for food I would use a salad bowl finish.
