Dave H 637 Posted July 17, 2011 Report Share Wow! nice cabin Bobby looks like fun. Am I seeing it right do you have to haul your own water, if so I'll bet you don't take long showers, I use to live in a house with a clawfoot tub shower like the one you have, that brings back memories. Bobby Slack 47 Posted July 17, 2011 Report Share Yeah. This picture was taken in '09 and we had a lot of crap laying around. Not as much this year. We spend a lot of time cleaning up. Some of our neighbors have a well. That is $ 30K. We have to drill through a lot of rock. So while we are young and still work on the cabin we take short showers. Remember I have a 2000 gallon tank under ground so, as long as I keep that baby full, there are no problems. Quote Link to comment
Bobby Slack 47 Posted July 17, 2011 Report Share For years we camped in our property and dealt with having a water trailer as our water tank. So now having 2000 gallons under ground is a huge improvement. Now ... having said all of that, dealing with the possibility of water shortage has taught me how to ration water here in Los Angeles.
