  1. hey guys. need some help with finishing my kitchen table. I chose Waterlox to finish a hickory table. I am on my final coat and it is not smooth. I'm not sure how to describe it is the problem. its not the dust nibs and its not sticky(well maybe it is) if you run your hand across it it kinda grabs your hand but not sticky like chewing gum. not sure if im describing this good lol. basically you can't run your hand across it at all. it kinda grabs your hand in other words. any advice. this is a week after application. my last two coats have done this. I thought I was on my final coat but sanded back and tried again. I now currently have 5 coats. thanks everyone
  2. Hey guys I’m looking at getting into spraying. I just built a kitchen table and it’s making me say it’s time to start spraying. I have a large air compressor so I’m leaning towards a gun setup for that. Can I get some advice for this or separate setup.? Pros/cons/etc. also recommendations on both. Thanks in advance
  3. The fence seems to be in a bind somehow and also drags on top of saw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My rails mount below table height Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. That's good things to check. I hadn't thought about that. I actually am using the incra leg system at end of rails. I'll start checking that cause something just seems a little off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yea I have the router table and it went like a dream. I can't seem to get the fence to keep from binding up and dragging on saw. Seems like I'm fighting alignment somehow with the guides and the support. I've started over and over on each step in instructions and seem to keep getting same results. 7. Anyone ever put an incra fence on sawstop? I'm looking some help. Instructions say hour time to install. I'm on my second day and can't get this thing right. Anyone have any pointers?? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Im looking at setting up dust collection with automated blast gates. (Ivac or grngate). they only have 4inch but I was planning on running 6inch piping. my question is I know I can reduce and put blast gates close to each tools where it will reduce down to 4 inch but I was thinking I needed to have blast gates closest to the trunk line for better efficiency. hopefully I'm explaining this right. any help is greatly appreciated
  9. I did a table like this last year. I got some plexiglass and wax and used it on underside and masking tape. Worked out awesome for me. Still lots of clean up. But not as much as just tape I don't think. Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Anyone have a Incra fence system on their table saw ? I have a sawstop and like the fence. I was thinking the repeatability might be a great feature. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. I was planning on the domino although I'm still learning the use of it. Then I ran into the problem in middle section. Guess I could just make sure they are in different locations on shelf? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
