This is the frame I built.maybe I will just build the top above the frame.

Is there a way I could use these? http://www.rockler.com/table-top-fasteners What I am worried about is when the wood expands and contracts that it doesn't crack.

That is kinda what I was thinking of using.

How would you attach the table top, like the one pictured? You would have to considered the wood moving.

I appreciate the offer but I can't justify spending that much money on a biscuit jointer. Maybe I will wait to buy something until I can find a good deal on a domino.

I plan to use it for table tops, Eventually I would like to build a roubo as well.

I am thinking about buying a used biscuit jointer and was wondering what people would suggest? Thanks

I used a dado set on my table saw.

This is a box I just finished. Made with cherry and hard maple. It measures 9" long by 6" wide. Finished with lindseed oil and polyurethane.

Thanks for the comments I changed the blades around and it cuts great.

Hey, I am new to wood working and I bought a used delta surface planer a couple months ago but I haven't really used it until now. It seems that everytime I send the board through it, it comes out with tearout throughout the board. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? Thanks
