  4. I went out to the workshop this morning , I thought I would try and get the rest of the openers morticed and ready for glue up, unfortunately my wrists are still to sore. I'll try again on Friday .

  6. Have you thought about a guillotine for cutting the laminate flooring , no mess or dust
  7. I done something similar on Christmas day back in 77 broken collarbone , again on a skateboard
  8. Only need to keep the plaster on for 3or 4 weeks, fortunately I've taken 6 months off work to fully renovate our old house built in the early 1640's. I'm in the middle of making the windows & doors, we're waiting for the plumber to give us a date when he can start, he's always at least two week late so no real rush.
  9. Yesterday I taught our youngest daughter how to skateboard. So today I had my left wrist set in plaster & my right wrist has a support .

The clamp & shoe turned up while I was away driving a truck to the UK . Also the proper wheel kit for the FB600.
  13. If you remember send me the info please, I have 350 m2 to do in a few months.
  14. If your cutting wood with a lot of resin try a blade like this, https://www.woodtalkonline.com/forum/87-topics/
  15. All the window openers are rebated , I'm going to get the gasket and slot cutter for the frames this morning so I can finish rebating the frames .
  16. I have all the lumber cut & squared up for 8 windows with 15 openers & 1 door for the front of the house, I'll be using the 250mm fine tooth blade to hogg out the rebate/rabbit for the openers then I'll unbox the incra and have a play around with some softwood before cleaning up the frames.
  17. I had the helper back in the shop today. The pallet the saw came on makes a good temporary outfeed table.
  18. The alder was cut and dried locally, I assume it's European alder , Reddish colour it grows like crazy here in the forest , all over 25 metres tall with very little to no branches for the first 18/20 metres , nice clean wood .
  19. The rip blade cuts nice and clean as you would expect from a new blade. The wood (Alder) arrived around 09:00 this morning, so I've been working on the ripping the slabs down to ruff size for 11 windows, 4 external doors, 7 internal doors, 1 sliding door & one hidden door in a library shelving wall, so when that lot is done I'll start to make the 5 roof windows. I'll put some pictures here in an hour or so. Smifffy
