  1. The workbench on castors is just part of it RichardA. I didn't name the project, this is what Woodworkers Journal called it and I was simply sharing something I thought might be interesting to others.
  2. This is not something I have done yet but I came across this and thought it may be something that might be a good fit for my shop area. I like this for many different reasons but I am going to think about it before I dive into anything else yet. Once I get everything else I have going completed then I will start something. Anyway I thought I would post this for anyone else who might be interested. Not sure if this is going to work how I intend for it to so we will see. This .jpg should allow you to see the entire page by dragging your mouse down just as if you were scrolling but you wont have a scroll bar you will just drag the image down and it should move down to see the entire page. Ok the .jpg wouldn't work so I made a short video showing the screen capture which can be seen here
  3. I really like this and it looks so clean, nice job Sir.
  4. I went on eBay and looked at Purell hand sanitizer and there are a couple listings with prices that are ridiculous. I understand supply and demand but price gouging to that extent is just wrong.
  5. Or that finishing the ductwork in my shop will cure it all so let’s all have a party and get it done
  6. People need to go down the isle next to toilet paper and get tissue. It is their nose that’s gonna be runny not their rear end. I was in trashmart and I overheard a lady say she didn’t know why everyone was buying up toilet paper but since everyone was doing it she was gonna buy some also. I’d rather make sure I have enough food, ammo and cash on hand before I run around like a mad man looking for toilet paper. I haven’t heard one person mention going to the bank to take cash out to have on hand but hey they got toilet paper. What happens if the banks close? Be careful and think about your answer on this one. The easy answer most want to say is “I have a debit card” but who will be filling those ATM machines?
  7. The NHL suspended its season until further notice. For me that’s like end of life. l hope your relative is getting better and that they are able to get back home soon.
  8. Richard that’s the 2 free weeks
  9. I hear you can get good deals on cruises right now. Buy 1 week cruise get 2 weeks for free

    INCRA I-BOX

It is more than $60 for the cartridge lol and I paid more for the blade as well. I only wear slippers when I work in the shop

    INCRA I-BOX

Ok this is great to hear, I am looking forward to learning how to use it. They said it is about a 2 to 4 week turn around time so I wont have it for a minute. I need time to get some other things done anyway and finish a couple other things I started. I have a small case of OCD and I don't like having to many things going at once. I like things organized and right now I have a mess because I have to many things started and not finished.

    INCRA I-BOX

Well I might just use bypass mode while using it until I know for sure. I posted a link to a website that is run by a tech from SawStop not long ago. I may reach out to him and ask what his thoughts are. He did mention before that SawStop techs cringe when people call and mention INCRA because of the materials used in their products and the callers always say "I made sure I had enough clearance" which is probably why I am so unsure. I did move the fence back a tad on the crosscut sled and I haven't had any issues.

    INCRA I-BOX

Ok I guess I worry to much. I loved the idea of the safety features of this saw and now I sometimes dislike it because I hate the thought of getting to close "might" trigger something I don't want. Maybe once I get more experience with it I wont have such a concern.

    INCRA I-BOX

Yeah it will turn red I believe just like if you touch the blade with your finger with the saw off of course, but I worry that with the blade spinning if there is any flex in the blade it could move closer than doing the test as you are mentioning and trigger the safety mode.

    INCRA I-BOX

Well not sure if anyone else has this and no I didn't search because I wanted it regardless. I ordered the I-Box from INCRA and I also ordered 2 of the push block combos they offer because I needed some of these anyway. My only concern is using the jig with the sawstop but I guess I can run it in bypass mode if I have to. It just looks like parts of this get really close to the blade and I guess I would worry about it throwing the saw into safety mode.
  16. Hey go to bed tomorrow is Saturday again
  17. I agree 100% Coop. I met my bride in 2016 and we got married this past June. We had 140 people at our wedding and I didn’t have one family member there. Reason is I don’t have any and it’s been this way since I was 15 years old. I consider my self a success story but let me say this no matter what you have and how much of it you have if you aren’t happy you might as well not have any, and I’m talking about money. Ok before I start getting all sentimental let me show you old timers what I did. ( Chestnut I’m showing you to but you’re not an old timer) lol Tested out the kerfmaker and ran a couple passes across table saw. I don’t have a dado set yet so I had to just make a few passes. Im just joking about the old timers comment. Please don’t take offense to that. Just all the talk about retirement I thought I’d throw it in. I really do think you guys are good people and I don’t mean anything bad by that.
  18. That is my first step is to find out how to do it online then start the process. My iPad gets a good workout when I am in the shop.
  19. In 25 years I won't be worried about it...lol Look what came today - at first I thought I received a box of candy.
  20. Oh I finally got that together and I am using it. Now I am just finishing the old project I started which is the one I was making myself. I also am trying to finish the dust collection part which is where I started collecting parts...lol I am wanting to run some simple ductwork but I am stuck between lost and confused. It is easy when someone says "send me a sketch and we will send you the parts" or "what are you looking for" I find it hard to explain and I can see it in my mind so I buy parts I think I need but haven't started a damn thing yet. I have probably spent $1500.00 ordering different fittings and hoses from Rockler. If you need anything let me know they may be out of stock and I might have it haha. I hope you are enjoying retirement Sir. Do you want to come do some work for hire? You can help set the rest of my shop for cash
  21. Yeah me to and my bride keeps telling me I need to get a clock in there but I don't want one. The whole point of going in there is to forget about everything else going on. That is where my escape is from everything else and I actually find it very relaxing. I may spend most of the time confused right now trying to figure things out but I am enjoying being there. I just wish I could finish getting the stuff I want done completed. It isn't the lack of not having the parts it is the ability to do it and not knowing what to buy. I had to stop buying stuff because it is starting to look like a parts warehouse in there.
  22. I’m hoping one day that I can make some things that look half this good.
  23. Well I just got the “How much longer are you going to be running that stuff” so I guess I’m done tonight. This is where I’m at with it at this point. I need to order some hardware pieces for the fence but I was waiting until I got the cuts made because I wasn’t sure how many times I would be remaking the pieces. I know this is basic stuff but it’s not for me. Thanks to someone on here I ordered the Kerfmaker 2 which will arrive tomorrow so I will get to test that out before I go further. I do like gadgets and I ordered another one from woodpeckers today that they are offering until March 30th the pocket compass. I may or may not use it that much but the concept looks cool to me so why not.
  24. Woodenskye - we need to talk I think I’m gonna hire you as my financial planner. Loading time varies, just depends on weather, vehicle types, and driver. As for damage frequency, well in this business it’s not IF it is WHEN and they do happen. Those are the photos you don’t publish, one because they are embarrassing and two because I don’t need OEM’s finding their products on forums in a demolished state. Sometimes they are just little bumps and bruises that dealers will fix or buff out but sometimes when the story is the driver forgot to lower a deck and got on the highway it is not a good ending. Insurance cost on cargo and liability would blow your mind. They use T38’s for the B2 pilots now. I don’t think I have any pics of the T38 in action but I have a lot of the Stealth. I have a video on YouTube also. Here are some photos of the stealth outside my door. Ok I will check back later I’m gonna work on my cross cut sled I’ve been making for what feels like the last 3 months. I want to show some of you that I do use these tools I have bought. I have the INCRA sled but I was making my own as well and I just haven’t had time to do much. I might have questions coming so be prepared or pretend you’re sleeping when I come back.
  25. And these trucks rarely shut off because of the PTO to load and unload. I do have electric pumps on them as well in the event there is a mechanical failure they can still get units off to be towed if need be but that is the only time they use it. They would be a month of Sunday's using that all the time. The other thing is the trucks are always right around 80,000 gross due to the truck weight and the vehicles are not getting any smaller. Fuel mileage is not to good with these units because of this. I thought I was doing pretty good in life until that fella said something about being an astronaut. I wonder if it is to late for me?
