  2. Drilling a straight long hole...need help

    Guys, i need your help. I am building my bemch and am at the point where I am attaching my legs to my long rails. I bought the benchcrafted. You can see the bolts and barrel nuts that I.bought at the link below.

    I need todrill a half inch hole straight through the leg, down the center of the tenon and rail. Total length is 7 1/2"

    I know Mark used these in his roubo. So if you guys can't help I understand but I really don't want to screw this up. Please help if you can :)

    Welcome Ken. Guess what? We're neighbors! I also live in Surprise. :)

    Can I come work in your shop on weekends? LOL... OK seriously...... I knew you where in Phoenix, I thought you where probably closer to Mesa... Mark, how can I get in with the Local WoodWorkers? I saw that the one group was all the way out in Mesa to darn far for my liking. Bad enough I just drove across town to Woodcraft today....

    And Yes, there is a Town called SURPRISE :P

  5. Woodcraft possibly comming to the Northwest Valley, Peoria AZ

    I was in Woodcraft all the way on the otherside of town a week ago. I casually mentioned that they need to be in the Area of Suncity. (no I am not that Old, just live near it LOL) They mentioned they are looking at the area of 99th and Bell Rd. I think that area is Peoria which is fine by me, it would be nice to have a store near by so I didn't have to drive 40min to 1.15hrs to get to. Just passing this info on.

    Greetings friends,

    I recently discovered WoodWhisperer. ( just crawled out from under a rock) I was a user of LumberJocks for a few months. After a 26 year delay I have found myself into the hobby of woodworking. I have always been fond of the activity however my career never let me really do what I wanted and accumulate the tools. Times have changed and I am settled down. I have been accumulating some tools and really am enjoying letting my creativity flow.

    I look forward to getting to know some of you and will be looking to you for inspiration and camaraderie.
