  1. SOLD Delta DJ-15 parallelogram 6" jointer Very Good condition, light hobbyist use, w/ mobile base. Knives were just sharpened. $550. I am located in CT near New Haven. Thanks for the interest!
  2. Thanks. Do you have any other words of wisdom about building wood counter tops/vanity tops. The sinks and tub are planned to be undermount.
  3. Does it result in a close to the wood finish? I like the look of Oiled wood, but I know that it will need more protection than that.
  4. We are in the process of renovating our master bathroom and really like the idea of wood counter tops. We have been considering Ipe, Jatoba, Cumaru, Teak. Are there any suggestions on the wood species, as well as the finish? My first thought on the finish was a couple of coats of Epiphanes. Here is a view of the bathroom plan.
  5. I would estimate that I have about 180 hrs into building and finishing it.
  6. In my opinion, the advantage of an 8" over the 6" is the rotational speed of the blade. I have had a 6" set and have found that I had to significantly slow my feed rates due to the slower rotational speed. Just my 2 cents.
  7. Yes the drawer pulls are lace wood, and I forgot to mention the zebrawood drawers have cherry sides
  8. This is a project that I recently finished and posed on Lumber Jocks. It was made for my wife for our anniversary. It is made from Sapele, maple, zebrawood and lacewood. It is based on a cabinet that Krenov built in the late 80's. All comments and critiques are welcome.
