Hey fellow wood junkies I am new to the guild and can't wait for the new site to get up and running. I am 27 and have never had any mentor. I have been woodworking for a couple years now but just recently started getting more serious. I started in Washington state, but i have recently moved to Tucson for emploment. I build mainly for co-workers and whoever else happens to hear about me. I build mainly larger entertainment center projects and cabinets, but i want to get into more of the detailed furniture side of woodworking. I do this as a hobby but hope to one day do this full-time. I look forward to being a member of this wood working community. I have attached pics of my most recent entertainment project built for my wife and a hope chest I built for her as well; this was one of my first projects I ever built i used walnut and the top is cherry, the pic was taken before I finished it with sherwin williams pre cat lacquer I sprayed with my Fuji HVLP, the design was inspired by a similar one I saw on the internet.
